They're all 25

Swear to God my life has NEVER been as dramatic as it has since I've started hanging out with a group of guys that are all 25 (four years younger than I am)! E is making me miserable in the best way possible. We're crazy about each other, but he's my cousin's best friend, may have a drug problem, and keeps me on a pedestal I don't necessarily belong on. He thinks he's going to ruin my life if he gets too close. Although he always manages to get too close. I feel like we're living in limbo. Need to move on but can't and am stuck!

Gettin my sweat on at the gym!

I've seen so many movies lately. New, not so new, and old. In the last month I've seen Inception, The Other Guys, and Machete. All really good. Inception was amazing. My face hurt from laughing at The Other Guys, and Machete was gory and bloody, but there was a certain comedic, corny element to it that made it pretty entertaining!

Today I watched Taking Woodstock. It was pretty good. Imelda Staunton stole the show!

Just finished a re-read of Deathly Hallows. I seriously can't wait for the movies to come out! Am still a blithering mess when Harry meets his parents and Sirius and Remus on his way to face death. I needed a good cry and that scene always delivers.

Dear employers at Lutheran High School,

Thanks so much for calling me at 5pm on a Friday to let me know that I didn't get the job for art teacher. I promise you, a sterile form letter would have been suffice. But no, you had to call me personally, get my hopes up when I first heard who was calling, and then crush those hopes with a "Sorry but we're going with someone else." When I reply with a "Thanks anyway." I get "Oh no problem, so sorry, it must be terrible in this job market." No shit! This is the second job in the last month that I've been seriously considered for only to be turned down. Thank you for ruining my weekend.

No love,

So, after being out and about today I have some messages for the general public: -This is the United States... We drive on the right side, not the left!!! -To the employees of Walgreens, CVS, Michaels (or anywhere that has the plastic shopping baskets)... It is not my responsibility to put the basket back when I am at the register. That is why your company pays you to work there and not me. That is all :P

Saw the movie tonight and I definitely think it was the best of the movies (so far).

Spoilers?Collapse )

I can't wait to see it again!

Is it sad that during a horrible breakup I'm more cheered up by The Office than by my friends?

Rant!Collapse )

And the first time tonight that I really felt light hearted was when I saw the beginning of The Office when poor Kevin was scooping his chili off of the floor.

I'm now unwinding from my hellish day of traveling and airports. I was supposed to leave Orlando airport for Cincinnati and connect to NY. The Orlando flight was delayed an hour b/c of the weather. I got to Cincinnati 30 minutes late and missed the connecting flight (as did a lot of other people). The people from Delta did not lift a finger to try to get us on that plane.

Ok though, I could deal with that. The nice Delta lady got me on a later flight to NY. Unfortunately though, the plane I was taking was late coming in and I was delayed until 7:45. Then had to sit on the plane for an hour waiting for the weather in NY to improve. I got home at 11:30. 12 hours from when I started out. I was supposed to be home at 4. UGH!!!
